Age 90, of Newark, De died peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday, February 25, 2015 at Wilmington Hospital after a brave and determined fight with a short illness. He was born on March 6, 1923 in Wilmington, De to the late Edward and Florence Murray. He was a graduate of Wilmington High School and served in the U.S. Navy during WWll. He was a master electrician and retired from the I.B.E.W.
Age 89, passed away peacefully on February 24th in Christiana Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and reading. Margaret and her husband of 70 years, Michael traveled all over the world and especially liked vacationing at the beach.
Anne Louise, a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away February 21, 2014 at the age of 81 at Jenner’s Pond Retirement Community in Jennersville, PA with family and friends around her. She was a longtime resident of Hockessin, DE and was born November 27, 1933 to the late Alexander Wright and Mary Magee of Chester, PA.
Elizabeth M. Phillips, 83 of Hockessin passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Christiana Hospital surrounded by her family. Elizabeth was born in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Mary (D’Libruo) and Arthur C. Maxwell. She was a 1949 graduate of St. Elizabeth High School and she still enjoyed lunching with her classmates. She worked seven years for the DuPont Company, where she met her late husband Robert O. Phillips, who predeceased her in 1983.

Earl was born in Harrisburg, PA and was a graduate of Elizabethtown College.  He served his country as a corpsman in the US Navy.  For 25 years, he worked for Astra Zenaca, retiring in 2000 as an executive director.
Mrs. Barbara A. Wojcik, age 73, of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully Friday, February 13, 2015 with her children and family at her side. Barbara was born in Hazleton, PA on March 24, 1941.  She was a licensed cosmetologist and retired from MBNA America.
Age 59, of Newark, passed away at his residence on Thursday, February 12, 2015. Born in Wilmington, Ed was the son of the late Stephen White and Rita Marie McNelly-Smith.  He served his country proudly in the US Navy during the Vietnam War.  He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in general studies with emphasis in computer science. He worked as a technical writer for AstraZeneca until his retirement.

Age 76, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, February 13, 2015. Born in Maine, Edward was the son of the late Roman H. and Joanne (Herilhy) Harabosky.  He worked as a drywall installer for many years until his retirement.
Jean, age 90 of Woodcrest, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2015. She was born and raised in Seaford, DE, the daughter of Philip L. Wainwright and Elisabeth M. Wainwright. Jean graduated from Seaford High School in the class of 1942. She completed training as a Registered Nurse at the Wilmington General Hospital School of Nursing in 1945.
Age 45, of Avondale, PA, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2015 from injuries sustained in a car accident. Born in Wilmington, Jacqueline was the daughter of Edna Flower and John Cleaver.  In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 28 years, Saul Alvarez; her daughters, Alisa and Michelle Alvarez; five grandchildren, a brother and three sisters.
Age 22, of Middletown, DE, passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 7, 2015. Born in Newark, DE, Steve was the son of Steven F. and Robyn (Thornton) McAvaney and a graduate of Christiana High School.  He was a warehouse worker for UPS.  Steven loved baseball and played for his high school and the Newark American Little League.  He was a member of the Boy Scouts Troop 252.
Born January 13, 1961 in Wilmington to Henry and Kathleen Manelski went to be with his heavenly Father on Monday, January 26, 2015 with his family by his side in Oklahoma City.
Mr. Peter J. Hahn, age 68 years, died on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Christiana Hospital. He was the son of the late Paul J. Hahn and Elizabeth Abernethy Hahn.  Mr. Hahn was a graduate of Salesianum School, class of 1964.  He was employed by the DuPont Company at its Chestnut Run facility for 38 years.  Following early retirement, Mr. Hahn was the sole caregiver for his invalid brother.

Age 67, of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, January 29, 2015 surrounded by his family. Born in Valparaiso, IN, Richard was the son of the late George and Priscilla (Stewart) Hudgins.  He worked for General Motors for 33 years as a HiLo driver until his retirement.
